Yuletime travels

So, the time has come to leave the twinkling lights of Worcester Park and head up to the Peak District for Christmas to spend it in a little cottage in a place called Sparrowpit. Doesn't sound promising from the name but I'm assured it's lovely. It's probably the calm country brother in the same family of which Worcester Park is the psychologically disturbed, searching-for-identity, 50-going-on-15 brother or such like. What this means in practice is several hours on the M25 and M1 so wish me luck and I'll see you on the other side .

Pah! So you take to the hills just three days into your voyage to document the world of Worcester Park. I guess I'll just have to cancel the round-the-world cruise and stay here just in case anything happens on Central Road. Happy Christmas!

Dereliction of duty I know but it's my first night away from dear old WP since August so I think I'm allowed "time off for good behaviour".
.
Arriving back yesterday was a marvellous moment, the pandemonuim of Boxing Day sales had completely failed to take hold of WP and only the reliable Costcutter had thrown open its doors to the masses. Sweet.
